9am – 3pm
AFD WORKSHOP – 187 FERRY ROAD, CHCH
$265 – 7 spaces available
Please email me on firstname.lastname@example.org with any interest.
A lovely way to spend a Sunday. Ease into your day with a chill yoga class, delicious treats and a creative few hours, resulting in your very own prints and/or cards to take home. Treat yourself to a soul fulfilling day. Our theme for printmaking will be based around flora and plants, however I am very open to supporting any of your ideas. Please bring them along.
9am Meet at AFD WORKSHOP, a fabulous new space run by Alex Fulton, 187 Ferry Road. Get settled in for a 9.15am restorative yoga class. This will be a 45 min chill class with beautiful yoga teacher. Wear something that you feel comfortable stretching in and printmaking in. There are bathrooms for changing if needed.
10am Hot tea and coffee with morning pastries and delicious sandwiches will be served. You will be emailed a menu to choose from prior.
10.30am (ish) We will spend the remainder of our time, learning to carve using lino cutters and then printing our designs onto beautiful paper for you to take home your own prints. You will have an A4 sheet of ‘easy-carve’ (a lino like mat to carve into), the idea is to cut this into 2-4 smaller pieces, to have fun and create a few ideas, rather than one large piece.
What to bring
Wear comfortable clothes to stretch in and create in, highly recommend bringing an apron.
If you have a yoga mat, please bring along, otherwise let me know and I can supply.
Bring a mug or keepcup and a drink bottle to keep you hydrated.
Please bring any inspiration to draw/carve from. I will also have plenty of ideas to help along the way. You will have an A4 piece of ‘easy carve’ to cut up and use for several designs.
You are welcome to pay in full or you can pay if off over 10 weeks.
or 10 x $26.50 weekly payments
